Everything begins with a great teacher!

The Â鶹ӰÊÓ College of Education offers dynamic underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ and Â鶹ӰÊÓ teaching programs that prepare you to transform the lives of your students.

At Â鶹ӰÊÓ, we prepare you to design creative, meaningful, rigorous, and joyful learning opportunities for your students that promote and nurture their intellectual, ethical, social and emotional growth. You will become a teacher who is culturally competent and focused on student-centered classrooms.

We offer paths to initial teaching licensure, advanced degrees and endorsements for current teachers, and degrees for those passionate about expanding the field of education. We offer both full-time and part-time programs with on-line and face to face options.

You will enjoy a close cohort of peers who support one another throughout the learning process. You have the choice of studying in person or online, depending on the program, as well as through programs embedded in school districts throughout Oregon.

Real-world experience is a cornerstone of our teacher preparation programs. Our students have a myriad of opportunities to practice their skills, including our preK-4 Early Learning Community on the Forest Grove Campus and local schools.

Â鶹ӰÊÓ Early Learning Community

The Early Learning Community is a demonstration school on the Forest Grove Campus. Serving children in preschool through fourth grade with an income-based sliding tuition scale, the ELC offers local children and families — as well as Â鶹ӰÊÓ teaching candidates — an environment of best practices in caring early education.
