Kinesiology/Athletic Training Dual Degree
Paragraphs

Earn your bachelor's degree and master's degree in athletic training in just five years with the Kinesiology-Athletic Training 3:2 Pathway.

Students major in kinesiology at the Forest Grove Campus. During their first three years, they complete core underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ coursework (with the exception of the capstone), all athletic training prerequisites, specified kinesiology courses, and a minimum of 93 credits.

Then, during their fourth year of study, they enter the clinical athletic training program at the Hillsboro Campus. The courses they take during the first year of the AT program will satisfy the remaining requirements of their kinesiology major. Students also deliver a formal presentation on their first year clinical internship experiences to complete the underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ capstone requirement.

At the end of five years, students will have earned both their bachelor's degree with a kinesiology major and their master of science in athletic training.

How to Apply

During the fall of your junior year, apply for Athletic Training Program. If accepted, faculty and staff will guide you through the transition process. Students who are not accepted to the AT program during their junior year can seamlessly continue their kinesiology major on the typical timeline.
