Admissions Requirements
- Prerequisite Coursework: Complete all prerequisite coursework with a grade of C- or better by mid-July of the year you plan to begin pharmacy school.
- GPA: Minimum 2.7 GPA in science (cumulative) and in the last 45 credit hours. Applications with lower GPAs will still be reviewed.
- Experience: Community/volunteer activities and cultural awareness are valued, and pharmacy experience is highly recommended.
- References: Two letters of recommendation from professors, advisors, employers or pharmacists.
- English Proficiency: International students and those whose first language is not English must demonstrate language proficiency.
- Ability to Meet Professional Technical Standards: The Professional Technical Standards identify the functions required for successful completion of the PharmD program.
- Completed Application: Complete an application through the .
- Interview: Highly qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an interview, offered in person or via Zoom. The interview allows the admissions committee to get to know candidates beyond the application materials.
- Bachelor's degree is not required for admission to the pharmacy program.
The Â鶹ӰÊÓ Admissions Committee will assess applicants on the strength and breadth of their academic record, references, knowledge of the pharmacy profession and Â鶹ӰÊÓ, and community/volunteer activities and cultural awareness.
Admission Deadlines
Pacific's PharmD program uses a rolling admissions process. Completed applications are reviewed as they arrive, and interviews are scheduled throughout the application cycle. Apply early!

How to Apply
- Learn more about the Pacific PharmD program. Contact our dedicated admissions counselor to learn about the program and application process. We also offer community events, where applicants can tour the campus, visit with current students and faculty, and learn more about our community outreach and professional development opportunities. Community events will be listed below when available for registration.
- Complete Your Prerequisites. Use the unofficial evaluation form to have your coursework evaluated. Our admissions counselor will evaluate and send a copy back to you in about two weeks.
- Complete Your Application. The Â鶹ӰÊÓ PharmD program uses the . Your online application will include:
- Transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended.
- Two references
- A personal statement, which allows the admissions committee to learn about you as an individual.
- Information about your community/volunteer experiences, professional and work history (especially healthcare- or pharmacy-related), and leadership.
- Attend an Interview. Highly qualified applicants will be invited to participate in an interview. The interview is a required step in the admissions process and allows the admissions committee to assess essential skills or traits that may not be reflected in your application. Consideration is given to knowledge of the profession, verbal expression, and other characteristics essential for success as a pharmacy student.
