Confidential Advocates are a small group of faculty and staff who have completed the 40 hour comprehensive advocate training offered through the Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force.
If you have had an unwanted, confusing, coerced, or forced sexual experience, or have concerns about your relationship, advocates can help you process your experience, connect you to resources, and explain your options for reporting. Unlike all other staff and faculty on campus, confidential advocates are not obligated to report incidents to the Title IX office unless the student would like to move forward with a complaint.
To meet with a confidential advocate fill out the Advocacy Request Form. An advocate will get back to you during the next business day to set up a meeting. Or you can contact the advocates directly at their emails below.
