Why Study Psychological Health and Well-Being?

A minor in psychological health and well-being will equip you to understand the connections between biological, psychological and physical health, while working to promote the well-being of individuals and communities. You’ll learn about research and theory on stress and its management. Then you’ll apply your skills and knowledge to create and participate in opportunities for leadership and civic and campus engagement.
The psychological health and well-being minor is intended to enhance the curriculum for students who intend to pursue careers in the social, health, and/or mental health services and/or Â鶹ӰÊÓ study in the health professions, social work, or counseling and/or clinical psychology.
