BARRIE -- Britney Spears said she celebrated the ending of her conservatorship with her 鈥渇irst glass of champagne鈥 over the weekend.

In an shared Monday, the 39-year-old singer said she had an 鈥渁mazing weekend鈥 adding that she 鈥渇elt like I was on cloud nine the whole time.鈥

On Friday, L.A. judge Brenda Penny terminated Spears鈥 nearly 14-year-long conservatorship of estate and person.

In the post, Spears said she had her first glass of champagne 鈥渁t the most beautiful restaurant I鈥檝e ever seen鈥 on Friday.

鈥淚鈥檓 celebrating my freedom and my B day for the next two months!鈥 she wrote.

Spears also thanked her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, saying he has 鈥渢ruly turned my life around.鈥

鈥淚鈥檓 forever thankful for that,鈥 she wrote.

In September, Spears鈥 father, James Spears, filed to end the court conservatorship which controlled his daughter鈥檚 life and money for 13 years.

During a hearing in June, Spears gave an impassioned speech, describing the restrictions under the conservatorship as 鈥渁busive.鈥

She told the court: 鈥淚 just want my life back.鈥

In the Instagram post Monday, Spears said it was a 鈥渟ight鈥 to see so many people celebrating her victory.

鈥淚 love my fans so much,鈥 she wrote.

Shortly after the conservatorship was terminated by Penny on Friday, Spears , calling it the 鈥渂est day ever.鈥

The singer shared a video of her fans dancing and celebrating the news.

鈥淚 think I鈥檓 gonna cry for the rest of the day !!!鈥 she wrote.
