Along with your career experience, the Pacific MBA will prepare you with a curriculum evolving as fast as today’s healthcare industry.

Healthcare track candidates will follow the same schedule as general MBA counterparts. Healthcare track students will take a combination of general MBA courses that provide a healthcare option of focus and specific courses unique to the healthcare track.

Text Box

“My MBA journey at 鶹Ӱ, Oregon, was transformative. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on learning experiences in data analytics and people management, which deepened my understanding of strategic decision-making and team dynamics. The program also provided ample opportunities to enhance my presentation skills, enabling me to communicate ideas effectively and confidently. These experiences, combined with a supportive environment, significantly boosted my personal confidence and prepared me for real-world challenges.”

International Seminar

鶹Ӱ's MBA International Seminar allows students to meet businesses, and learn about local and international business practices. During the 7 days abroad, the class will meet 5-6 companies both in the general and healthcare professions, in addition to cultural activities such as visiting local monuments and museums, dinners and city guided tours.

Aalen in Germany, London in the UK, Barcelona in Spain, and Lisbon in Portugal have offered a great amount of information and networking opportunities, allowing the students to ask questions about how the business is run and the executive's decisions, tour the business operations, and learn how each different country operates.

Corporate Landscape Tours

Our Corporate Landscape Tour is part of our effort to make sure that our students gain both theory and practice when it comes to business skills. On tour, students and their faculty visit with executives, get to ask questions about the business and the executives’ experiences and get to tour the business operation. This provides an essential networking opportunity for our students.

Multnomah, Washington, and Clark counties are growing quickly and offer a wealth of opportunities to connect with a wide variety of companies from small start-ups to well-established multi-national corporations. Some of our recent tour destinations included Chaucer, Golden Valley Brewery, Elk Cove Vineyards, Nike, and Columbia Sportswear, and our partners are growing every day.

Dual Healthcare/MBA Degree

Students in Pacific’s 鶹Ӱ programs in the College of Healthcare Professions can also enroll in the MBA in Healthcare, earning both degrees at the same time. Earning an MBA in Healthcare Management, in addition to your 鶹Ӱ healthcare degree, will prepare you for leadership roles in healthcare or for managing your own practice.

Earning an MBA can help you:

  • Learn managerial practices in the business world and in a healthcare setting.
  • Understand critical skills to run a modern healthcare practice, including accounting, marketing, quality and operations management, and organizational diversity and leadership.
  • Increase your income. According to the , the median annual pay for medical and health services managers in 2021 was $101,340. The top 10% of earners in this field were paid more than $205,620 that year. Plus, the Graduate Management Admission Council's found that new MBA 鶹Ӱs' starting salary was 22% to 40% more than new hires with only a bachelor's degree.
