Global opportunities have long been a part of the �鶹Ӱ�� experience, and they are on the rise. 

Elona Wilson '18 took her under�鶹Ӱ�� degree and ran with it, breaking a family cycle of poverty and addiction on her way to becoming a respected leader of Next Up, a Portland, Ore.,-based nonprofit.

Corey Hedger '18, MAT '19 wanted a small community and a small school where he would get the most out of his education while also being challenged every day.

“I wanted to be competitive in the market and earn that edge that others might not want to pursue,” said Zade Al-Khatatbeh MBA '18. He saw earning an MBA as a way to help develop the skills needed to advance a career goal of finance or consulting management.

Daisy Rizo '17, MSW '18 is able to combine her passion for social work with her desire to assist other Latinos.

Recent business alumnus Jonas Hanna '18 launched his business just before graduation. Less than a year later, his product is on the market in stores like Made in Oregon.

Jane’t Schab MA '18 has held to one mantra: Never give up. Through a challenging childhood, family tragedy, balancing school and family, and an enduring long-term bout with breast cancer, Schab has come back to that phrase time and again.

The profession of pharmacy is changing all the time, and through her three years in �鶹Ӱ��’s School of Pharmacy, Erin Wilson ’05, PharmD ’18, had a chance to see it all.

Hannah Hulse '18 spends her summers fighting wildfires. Now, she's getting ready to pair her firefighting experience with her education in the College of Business for a career in fire operations.

Lopes is an under�鶹Ӱ�� psychology major and varsity soccer player at �鶹Ӱ��. In November, he successfully passed the U.S. Citizenship test after several years of uncertain legal status prior to becoming a legal permanent resident.

“I love Pacific and am so grateful I will be able to get my degree from a place that has so quickly become a second home.”
