鶹Ӱ’s College of Business created Career Readiness to offer additional, specialized, one on one support to students and alums. Corporate employers and community partners now also have a single point of contact for internship and employment opportunities.

Career Readiness is your first stop for information about professional development programming, events, and workshops offered by the College of Business, the Boxer Business Club and the AMA Club. We are a busy college so jump in and become part of the College of Business community today!
Through Career Readiness, you can practice professional development skills needed for you to become career ready. The introduction of our Professional Development curriculum delivers a “year to year” playbook optimizing your collegiate professional development journey. We will work together on optimizing your Linkedin Profile, creating a professional, robust resume, practicing interviewing techniques, learning how and why networking is so important and of course, some business etiquette as well.
We recommend students actively take the following steps:
- Update your profile on
- Plan on attending our workshops, events, and programs
- Become involved in leadership positions within the Boxer Club and/or the AMA Club
- Update your profile on LinkedIn and Symplicity
- Schedule an appointment with Frank Roth in Career Readiness
- For your sophomore year, sign up for BA299 Professional Development
- Share your resume with Frank for helpful hints

Internship Possibilities
Learning how to apply theories and business examples does not come from just being in a classroom, it comes from hands-on application with mentorship and guidance in the real business world. Career Readiness has developed access to internships via Linkedin which assists our students in locating an internship where they have the opportunity to work alongside experienced personnel in their fields.
