The School of Social Sciences is excited to welcome Omar El Akkad to the Â鶹ӰÊÓ Forest Grove campus for our 2025 Whiteley Distinguished Lecture. Omar is an award-winning author and journalist. His first book of nonfiction, One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This, will be published on February 25, 2025.

Instructors well-versed in paddle technique and boat etiquette will lead you through a day of exploration and non-stop fun. No need to own a kayak, all gear, transportation, and instruction is provided when heading out to sea!
