May Commencement

May Commencement is the crowning finish to the academic year and a time to recognize the outstanding graduating students of Â鶹ӰÊÓ. Join us for a weekend of festivities celebrating their graduation. 

May Commencement features two ceremonies:

  • The UnderÂ鶹ӰÊÓ Ceremony, held in the morning, recognizes the graduation of students earning bachelor's degrees in the colleges of Arts & Sciences, Business, Education and Optometry.
  • The Graduate/Professional Ceremony, held in the afternoon, recognizes the graduation of students earning master's and doctoral degrees in master's and doctoral degrees in the College of Arts & Sciences (nonprofit leadership, social work), College of Business (MBA), College of Education (speech-language pathology, teaching, education), College of Health Professions (pharmacy, athletic training, physical therapy, healthcare science, medical science) and College of Optometry (optometry, vision science).

Masters of Social Work Â鶹ӰÊÓs and their guests are welcome for a formal program to honor each Â鶹ӰÊÓ. Graduates will be given their hoods and the program is followed by dinner in Marsh Hall.

UnderÂ鶹ӰÊÓ students who are graduating spring 2025 are invited to attend Â鶹ӰÊÓ’s Sign, Shake and Ring ceremony on Friday, May 16 between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
