It’s been years in the making but the 2016 U.S. presidential election is finally here. For Canadians eager to watch the results unfold, Â鶹ӰÊÓ will have extensive, in-depth coverage of the election on all platforms come Tuesday, Nov. 8.

CTV National News with Lisa LaFlamme will start at 11 p.m. ET on Nov. 8, capping off election night with a comprehensive breakdown of the results as well as the concession and victory speeches. It will also feature reports and updates from Â鶹ӰÊÓ reporters covering the election in the United States.

Â鶹ӰÊÓ’ 24-hour national news network Â鶹ӰÊÓ Channel will feature wall-to-wall coverage of the election with a television special called ‘AMERICA’S CHOICE 2016’ starting at 7 p.m. ET. The special will be hosted by News Channel hosts Beverly Thomson and Todd van der Heyden.

It will include a panel of experts to provide up-to-the-minute analysis of the election results, and their impact on Canada. BNN’s Michael Hainsworth will also be on hand to break down the state-by-state results, examine how Americans are voting, and survey reaction on social media platforms in Canada and around the world.
