PESHAWAR, Pakistan - Intelligence officials say suspected US missiles have hit two houses in northwest Pakistan, killing a total of 27 people.
In the first strike, two suspected missiles hit a house in North Waziristan on Friday, killing 20 people.
Officials say a second missile attack on a house in the village of Kari Kot in South Waziristan killed seven people.
The tribal areas in northwestern Pakistan are used as safe havens by insurgents fighting western forces in Afghanistan.
