NAPLES, Florida - Forecasters expect Tropical Storm Fay to get a dose of energy today when it moves over the Atlantic Ocean, where it could reach hurricane strength.
A hurricane watch is posted for parts of north Florida and Georgia.
The storm has crisscrossed Florida, causing flooding and a tornado that damaged dozens of homes near Orlando.
Two injuries were reported.
Fay's top sustained winds increased for several hours during the day and peaked at 104 kilometres per hour per hour, before dropping to 80 kilometres per hour.
