TORONTO - Keira Knightley, Guy Ritchie, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning and Ralph Fiennes are among the celebs whose films will unspool at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
"The Secret Life of Bees," based on the bestselling novel, will have a gala premiere at the annual movie-lovers marathon, organizers announced Thursday. It stars Fanning, Keys, Latifah and Jennifer Hudson.
Festival-goers will also be able to take in the international premiere of Knightley's new film, "The Duchess," which co-stars Fiennes.
Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear also have a project at the festival. They co-star in "Ghost Town," about a man who dies suddenly but is revived seven minutes later and suddenly has the ability to see ghosts.
Larry Charles, whose last project, "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," was a smash at the festival two years ago, will be back with "Religulous." It follows humorist Bill Maher as he interviews people about God and religion.
The festival will also feature British director Mike Leigh's new comedy "Happy-Go-Lucky," about a free-spirited schoolteacher.
And Ritchie, whose rumoured marriage troubles with Madonna have recently made headlines, will screen "RocknRolla" at the fest. It's about a Russian mobster who orchestrates a crooked land deal and stars Tom Wilkinson, Thandie Newton and Jeremy Piven.
The festival runs Sept. 4 to 13.
