If it weren't for British singer Amy Winehouse, "No, no, no!" would never have become the "That's hot!" mantra of 2007. She's troubled. She's talented. What's more the 23-year-old hipster kept the world hanging on the edge of its seat, watching with train wreck fascination at she - and her prodigious pipes -- descended from celebrity to infamy in the blink of bloody, bruised eye.

Winehouse's drug- and booze-addled antics, not to mention her brawls with husband Blake Fielder-Civil, kept all eyes on her. From battered tabloid photos to cancelled tours, Winehouse was the poster girl for "artistic suffering" - and 2007's one underdog pick who deserves a shot at career redemption.
