Stephanie joined the CTVNews.ca team in 2021 as a digital journalist for the site. Based in Toronto, she鈥檚 had experience covering everything from the Toronto Raptors championship to the economic impacts of COVID-19. While she has a strong passion for storytelling and writing for web, she also specializes in shooting and producing 360-degree videos. In 2018, she wrote an eBook for tech company Beyond Media on virtual tours. Later in 2020, she helped the Ryerson University School of Journalism create an interactive, online textbook on immersive video storytelling. She also assisted in teaching students the basics of 360 video.
In 2019, Stephanie was a part of the Ryerson journalism group that won the Canadian Online Publishing Award for Best Interactive Story and Asian-American Journalists Association International Digital Journalism Award for her overseas reporting in Hong Kong.
In 2020, she and three other students produced a short documentary on human trafficking in Canada and received awards from the Canadian Association of Journalists and Amnesty International.
Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University and speaks English and Cantonese.
