LOS ANGELES - "Grey's Anatomy" presents itself as an ensemble cast, but at least this week some of its stars, with newly renegotiated contracts, have clear reason to be happier than others.
Ellen Pompeo, who stars as Meredith Grey, will receive nearly $200,000 per episode, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Also re-signed for the hit medical drama were James T. Pickens Jr. and Chandra Wilson, with Justin Chambers and T.R. Knight close to new deals, the trade paper reported Friday, citing unidentified sources.
All will receive about $125,000 an episode, the paper said.
Still to conclude negotiations are cast members Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh and Katherine Heigl, the Reporter said.
Isaiah Washington, who created a furor with his use of an anti-gay slur, also has yet to sign a new deal, his publicist, Howard Bragman, said Friday.
"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays on CTV.
