The hit drama - centering on the quirky lives of the residents of Wisteria Lane - could be turned into a Broadway show after the show's creator Mark Cherry recently dropped hints to the cast.
Kyle McLachlan, who plays Bree Hodge's husband Orson, recently revealed on Britain's Heart radio station that he thinks it's "a great idea" and that "it makes sense." McLachlan also stated that Cherry has revealed that "when he finishes his seven years at ABC he plans to go to Broadway and move into the musical world so maybe he does have some designs in that way. That's all he's said so far."
Kyle, most famous for his role a Special Agent Dale Cooper in "Twin Peaks" and for his revelatory turn in that fine, '90s classic "Showgirls" said he would be happy to reprise his role on stage, before adding, "You never know. It could happen. Never say never right? There is more chance of that than seeing me in a 'Twin Peaks' musical."
The fourth season of "Desperate Housewives" continues its run on CTV starting Sunday April 13th.
