ORANGE, Calif. - Flamboyant former professional basketball star Dennis Rodman is due to be sentenced in California on four counts of contempt for failing to pay child support.
The former National Basketball Association star is expected to be sentenced Tuesday.
Mary Ann Noiroux, an attorney for Rodman's ex-wife Michelle, says he likely will face a sentence of community service. Noiroux says Rodman could also be ordered to pay more than US$800,000 in back child support.
Rodman's now-former wife filed for divorce in 2004. They have two children.
Rodman was found guilty last year over child support owed in 2009 and 2010.
Rodman's attorney, Linnea Willis, did not return a call for comment.
