VERNON, B.C. -
The RCMP have released a video of a man charged in the murder of an 18-year-old B-C woman in hopes of gathering more information about the suspect's movements on the day of the killing.
The video shows 26-year-old Matthew Foerster in a grey sweatshirt and black pants with his hands behind his back, being escorted by a Mountie from a small aircraft to the back seat of a mini van.
He's accused of second degree murder in the killing of Taylor van Diest, who was attacked while walking near railway tracks in Armstrong on Halloween night last October.
Police say they want to establish a detailed time line of Foerster's activities that day and they want to hear from anyone who may have had contact with him then.
His father, Stephen Foerster, is accused of being an accessory to murder and obstruction of justice in the van Diest killing.
He made a video appearance in Vernon court today and was ordered to remain in custody, pending a bail hearing next week.
Outside the court, a television cameraman and freelance photographer were roughed up by a man and a woman believed to be connected to Foerster.
