Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois has become one of Quebec's most famous faces in the 100 days since the student uprising began over proposed tuition hikes.
But he hasn't been paying his rent, according to his landlord.
In fact, Nadeau-Dubois and his roommates hadn't paid rent for two months, and owed their landlord $1,900, CTV Montreal reports.
Quebec's rental board has signed off on an eviction order against the CLASSE student leader and his roommates. The board has also ordered the tenants to reimburse landlord David Francisco for legal fees.
Nadeau-Dubois, 21, has said that an envelope with money was left in the landlord's mailbox, and he stated that the landlord repeatedly failed to give receipts.
It's not known if Nadeau-Dubois and his roommates have moved out yet.
