L'ILE-PERROT, Que. - A funeral will be held Wednesday for a three-year-old Quebec girl who was killed after a car crashed through a Halloween display on her babysitter's lawn.
Bianca Leduc was playing amid the display of ghouls and tombstones when she was hit on Halloween in L'Ile-Perrot, west of Montreal, by a car that had just collided with another vehicle but didn't stop.
A judge will decide on Tuesday whether the teenager whose car allegedly struck the child will get bail.
Brandon Pardi, who turned 18 on the day of the accident, is one of two teens charged with criminal negligence causing death and dangerous driving causing death.
The 17-year-old who was charged with him will have his bail hearing on Tuesday.
Quebec provincial police say speed was a factor in the accident but there were no drugs or alcohol involved.
