Possible Conservative Party leadership contender Kevin O鈥橪eary says he and his fellow Tories 鈥渁re losers鈥 but he has a plan to make them 鈥渨inners鈥 again.

鈥淲e now know we can鈥檛 out-Kumbaya Trudeau, we can鈥檛 do more push-ups, we can鈥檛 do more selfies,鈥 the high profile business figure and Bell Media on-air contributor

But, according to O鈥橪eary, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau can be beaten by hammering away at his poor performance on the economy -- a reality O鈥橪eary says will 鈥渃rash in鈥 after the 鈥渉oneymoon period鈥 ends.

Trudeau is vulnerable, he said, because of a 鈥渄isaster鈥 budget will create no wage growth, a possible housing price collapse, and 鈥渢he real killer鈥 -- jobless and underemployed youth.

鈥淗e made a promise to millennials that he鈥檇 find them jobs,鈥 he said. 鈥淭hey will get no jobs.鈥

鈥淭hey will remain in limbo, living in the basements of their parents鈥 homes, getting $8 an hour or some internship,鈥 he went on. (Minimum wage now exceeds $10 an hour in all provinces and territories.)

Trudeau is planning to 鈥渨aste hundreds of billions of dollars on initiatives that don鈥檛 create any jobs because they鈥檙e not tied to the private sector,鈥 O鈥橪eary said.

鈥淭hey鈥檙e just extracting money in the form of debt and layering it on the future,鈥 he added.

So will he run?

O鈥橪eary said he is still considering using his recently-built alliances and 鈥渕ass of social media followers鈥 to mount a leadership campaign for the party, which he said he officially joined earlier this week.

鈥淢y decision is 鈥 do it myself, which is an option for me, or be a kingmaker?鈥 he said. 鈥淎s long as I have a major say in our economic policy in this country.鈥

Earlier on Power Play, former cabinet minister and possible leadership rival Jason Kenney said he believes the next Conservative leader must speak French.

Quebec-born O鈥橪eary does not speak French, but told Power Play he thinks Francophone Quebeckers 鈥渁re going to give me a pass on the language issue, because they trust me to do one thing well for them: make them economically competitive and get jobs for their children.鈥
