MONTREAL -- Quebec's political parties are continuing to trot out candidates ahead of next week's likely election call.
The Parti Quebecois announced at least three more candidates as it prepares for an election that is expected to be called next Wednesday.
That's the day Premier Jean Charest's cabinet first meets after its summer break.
If Charest does indeed call the election that day, it would be held on September 4, the day after Labour Day.
PQ Leader Pauline Marois said lawyer Stephane Labrie will run in Levis, local municipal politician Michel Lagace will try his luck in Riviere-du-Loup-Temiscouata and college administrator Elizabeth Larouche will represent the party in Abitibi-Est.
Francois Legault's Coalition for Quebec's Future says Francois Rebello, a member of the national asembly, wil run in the Montreal-area riding of Sanguinet.
