WINNIPEG - Manitoba's three main party leaders squared off today in a final debate before Tuesday's provincial election.
There were no knockout blows as the leaders discussed taxes, education and other topics at a 90-minute business luncheon.
Progressive Conservative Leader Brian Pallister, who opinion polls suggest is the front-runner, was frequently pressed for specifics on his agenda.
The crowd applauded when NDP leader Greg Selinger and Liberal Leader Rana Bokhari asked Pallister to specify how much he would spend on schools or infrastructure.
But the crowd also applauded Pallister when he said he can't commit to specific dollar amounts until he knows how big the provinces deficit is.
