OTTAWA -- The three main party leaders begin to fan out across the country today following their debate on the economy Thursday night -- each hoping their performance in Calgary will give their respective campaigns a boost.
Conservative Leader Stephen Harper won't be leaving his home turf right away though. He will hold a morning campaign event with former NHL player Sheldon Kennedy, who is a vocal advocate for victims of sexual abuse.
Harper will continue the hockey theme later in Toronto when he takes part in a campaign event with The Great One himself -- retired NHL star Wayne Gretzky.
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will visit Air Inuit's location at Montreal's Trudeau International Airport, in the Notre-Dame-de-Grace-Lachine riding in the city's west end.
The New Democrats captured that riding in 2011 when they swept most of the seats in Quebec.
NDP Leader Tom Mulcair will visit Regina, targeting Liberal stalwart Ralph Goodale's riding with an event at a seniors' centre. Goodale has held his Wascana riding since 1993.
Green party Leader Elizabeth May participates in an all-candidates meeting in her British Columbia riding of Saanich-Gulf Islands, while Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe will discuss fiscal justice at a campaign stop in Montreal.
