OTTAWA -- Two of the main federal party leaders set their sights on British Columbia voters today.
NDP Leader Tom Mulcair is scheduled to meet with children and parents at a Vancouver event where he is expected to tout his plan for $15-a-day child care. Mulcair will then head east to Winnipeg.
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will make an announcement in Victoria in a riding the NDP narrowly captured from the Liberals in the 2011 election.
Conservative Leader Stephen Harper's only public event is in King Township, north of Toronto before he heads to British Columbia.
Green party Leader Elizabeth May continues to campaign in her Vancouver Island riding and plans to attend a Spirit of the West concert in the evening.
Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe will file his official candidacy papers in Montreal before speaking to reporters.
