Canadians had plenty to root for on social media Monday night, whether they were backing the Toronto Blue Jays in the playoffs, or voting for their political party of choice in the federal election.
The Jays and the federal election dominated conversations on social media, with baseball and ballots crossing over in ways only Twitter could come up with. Some people mashed up Jose Bautista鈥檚 victorious bat flip with outgoing prime minister Stephen Harper, while other Twitter users unofficially 鈥渆lected鈥 several Jays to the House of Commons.
Jays game starts. Polls close at 930EST. You know what to do.
