EDMONTON -- Alberta Premier Alison Redford was asked point blank in the legislature today if she still has the support to be leader.
The response was a standing ovation from her Progressive Conservative caucus -- and from the Opposition Wildrose party too.
NDP Leader Brian Mason asked the question as the premier continued to deal with strife in her caucus.
Just hours earlier, Donna Kennedy-Glans, associate minister for electricity, quit Redford's team to sit as an Independent.
Kennedy-Glans joined former legislature member Len Webber, saying she could no longer stomach the government's culture of entitlement.
On the weekend, as some of Redford's caucus criticized her and each other on Twitter, she said she would be following a work plan to be delivered to her by party bosses.
