Pharmacy Bridge Programs create a path for eligible underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ students at participating underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ institutions to pursue guaranteed conditional admissions at Â鶹ӰÊÓ School of Pharmacy while building relationships with School of Pharmacy students and faculty.

These programs aim to nurture career interests, provide enriching pre-professional development, and pave a way for success in Â鶹ӰÊÓ’s 3-year Doctor of Pharmacy degree program. Participants in these programs will:

  • Receive educational and career support from School of Pharmacy faculty
  • Participate in pre-professional workshops
  • Participate in select School of Pharmacy events
  • Build mentorship relationships with current School of Pharmacy students
  • Receive guaranteed conditional admissions to the School of Pharmacy’s PharmD program pending completion of bridge program requirements

Eligibility

Any student at participating underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ institutions who have completed the required minimum coursework with a 3.0 GPA can apply. For more information, contact Pharmacy Admissions at PharmD@pacificu.edu

Pacific Students

Â鶹ӰÊÓ underÂ鶹ӰÊÓs also are eligible and can advance their pathway to the pharmacy profession with our 3+3 pharmacy program.

How To Apply

Step One | Complete at least 30 credit hours

These should include some of the following prerequisite courses:

  • General Biology
  • General Chemistry
  • Calculus
  • English Writing/Composition
  • Psychology
  • Organic Chemistry

Step Two | Complete a graduation plan

Your graduation plan should include:

  • The applicant’s general education courses that will complete requirements for a degree (an Associate's or a Bachelor's)
  • Courses that will complete prerequisite admissions requirements for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program

The graduation plan should be approved by your advisor.

Step Four | Apply using the PharmCAS

All applications to the pharmacy program must go through the PharmCAS application. Please note, using the PharmCAS, you can only select entry into the upcoming fall term. However, later in the application, you will be asked if you are a Bridge student. Check yes, and we can defer your pharmacy application until your expected start year.

We have a priority deadline in March, and a final deadline in July, but the sooner you apply, the easier your chances of becoming accepted.

Step Five | Successfully pass an interview into the Bridge program

We interview students both online and in-person, you can email me for a free coupon code and apply through PharmCAS, and we will let you know if you are invited to an interview and next steps.
