ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A top Pakistani official says a court will indict seven suspects in last year's attack on the Indian city of Mumbai in the coming week.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik also told reporters in Islamabad today that Pakistan wants more forensic evidence from India to help its case.
The suspects have been in the midst of closed-door pretrial hearings at a court in a maximum security prison in Rawalpindi.
So far they have not had charges presented against them. Their next hearing is set for Sept. 26.
India blames a Pakistani militant group for November's attacks in Mumbai, which left 166 people dead. Pakistan has acknowledged much of the plot originated on its soil.
