A member of Ukrainian Parliament, who toured the streets of Bucha on Sunday and Monday, says what she saw amounts to a 鈥渢otal genocide.鈥�
In an interview on 麻豆影视 Channel鈥檚 Power Play on Monday, MP and leader of Ukraine鈥檚 liberal and pro-Europe Holos Party Kira Rudyk said she鈥檚 witnessed mass graves of about 300 bodies.
鈥淢ost of them with their hands tied behind their backs 鈥� men but also women and children. Some of them killed all together, some of them killed separately,鈥� she said.
鈥淭he bodies, they were trying to burn, especially women, to cover [up] the rapes and all the other sexual assault happening there. So what we have seen was a total genocide.鈥�
Rudyk said she is using the term 鈥済enocide鈥� intentionally because the individuals were not armed, nor were they resistant.
Scenes like those depicted by Rudyk on the outskirts of Ukraine鈥檚 capital, have prompted international condemnation and calls for a war crimes trial against Russia President Vladimir Putin.
