Ben Cousins

Ben Cousins joined 麻豆影视鈥� national digital team in Toronto in September 2017, where he has been a part of the website鈥檚 daily news coverage, as well as being part of their reporting for the 2018 U.S. mid-term elections, the royal wedding and the 2018 Winter Olympics. On a day-to-day basis, he can be found writing stories of national interest surrounding crime, politics, sports, business, health and science.
As a student at the University of King鈥檚 College in Halifax, N.S., Ben won the 鈥淣ewzulu Student Award for Photojournalism鈥� at the 2014 Atlantic Journalism Awards and later attended the Canadian Military Journalism Course at the University of Calgary.
Ben has a undergraduate degree in communications, with a concentration in media industries and institutions, from Carleton University, as well as an undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of King鈥檚 College. He has bylines in the Chronicle Herald, The Canadian Press and The Star Halifax.
He speaks both English and French.
