Fans of pop idol Justin Bieber lined up for hours just so they could be among the first to see a museum exhibition in his hometown of Stratford, Ont., on Sunday.
The 鈥淪teps to Stardom鈥 exhibition features memorabilia like hockey jerseys and music awards that were lent to the museum by Bieber鈥檚 grandparents.
manager John Kastner said that about 100 people were lined up when the museum opened at 10 a.m.
鈥淭he first group of people, they were from Indiana,鈥 Kastner said. 鈥淭hey鈥檇 been here since five in the morning.鈥
鈥淲e had people here from Paris, France (and) China,鈥 he added.
Although Bieber wasn鈥檛 there, his mother has visited and took photos to send her son, according to Kastner.
Mayssa Barakat, from Brazil, said she was 鈥渋n love with everything鈥 on display. 鈥淚鈥檓 shaking,鈥 she added.
Nicole Pierino and her friend Katie Bruce travelled all the way from Buffalo, N.Y., just for the opening.
Pierino said Bieber鈥檚 music 鈥渢ouches so many people.鈥
鈥淵ou really see his impact here today,鈥 she added.
