WINNIPEG - Health officials in Manitoba are reporting the death of an adult who had tested positive for swine flu.
It is the sixth death in the province related to the H1N1 virus.
Officials say the person was between 18 and 65 years old and had underlying medical conditions.
The province is also confirming 102 new confirmed flu cases in the last week, bringing the total to 787.
Many of the stricken have been from northern aboriginal communities.
There have now been 38 deaths of Canadians who had swine flu: 15 in Quebec, 12 in Ontario, six in Manitoba, three in Saskatchewan and two in Alberta.
