Alumni Jim and Mary Fair Berglund are among Pacific’s most generous supporters, and daughter Julie Berglund Baker is following their lead.

Named in honor of the late Dr. Massih, the award recognizes a Pacific �鶹Ӱ�� who has served the optometric profession with distinction.

�鶹Ӱ�� launched Janet Copeland’s lifelong pursuit of education. When she earned her doctorate at age 65, she and her husband celebrated by endowing a scholarship at Pacific to give someone else the same start.

Dori Carlson OD '89 has been named the third recipient of the Kamelia Massih Prize for a Distinguished Optometrist. She received the award May 18, 2013, at �鶹Ӱ��'s �鶹Ӱ�� Commencement ceremony.

The Spirit Mountain Community Fund in Oregon has awarded �鶹Ӱ��'s EyeClinic Cornelius a capital grant of $30,000 to help build out a new clinic within the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center's new Wellness Center in Cornelius.

A group of Japanese optometrists are saying “arigatou” to �鶹Ӱ�� with gifts for the College of Optometry.

�鶹Ӱ�� has named alumnus Stanley J. Yamane '65, OD '66, the 2012 recipient of the University's Kamelia Massih Prize for a Distinguished Optometrist.

Award honors an outstanding optometry alumnus or alumna for care in serving both patients and communities.

Endowment will fund the Kamelia Massih Prize for a Distinguished Optometrist.
