Chascity-Mae Sarmiento ’19 designed a social work project using animals to help kids.

Naihe, who �鶹Ӱ��d from �鶹Ӱ�� on May 18 with a bachelor’s degree in art design, worked feverishly to make sure that his senior capstone project at Pacific was perfect. 

As executive administrator of the Hawai`i Council on Developmental Disabilities, Daintry Bartoldus '88 spends her working hours ensuring support for vulnerable members of her community. But outside of work, she goes even further, taking in neighbors and lifting up those in need.

Weli Alamillo '18 was excited for the chance to play soccer at the collegiate level. The chance to delve into scientific research, though, was even more exciting.

Pat Pimental spent three years as floral and lei chair of the Nā Haumāna O Hawai‘i Lu‘au. As a parent, she says, she was able to become part of the ‘ohana at Pacific.

"We give because Pacific is a part of our family."

Jill (Remiticado) Uyeda '03 helped start Pacific's women's wrestling program. Today, she uses the tenacity she learned as a wrestler and the science she learned as a physics major in her construction career.

A couple of alumni took a chance on a Hawai‘i coffee farm. Five years later, they are winning awards and giving back to the coffee community.
