Speaking on CTV鈥檚 Your Morning on Tuesday, food blogger Julie Albert shared her ideas for a red, white and blue bash as history unfolds south of the border.
Inspired by Democratic presidential candidate at a debate in September, Albert recommends the oven-baked, cornmeal crusted (left) wing chicken wings, complete with two different kinds of dipping sauces: blue cheese and apricot.
鈥淚f you鈥檙e a right-winger you can eat them as well,鈥 Albert said with a laugh. 鈥淏ut eat them in secret.鈥
If you鈥檙e looking for Republican-themed fun, Albert suggests her Trumped-up beer braised BBQ chicken sliders. 鈥淵ou can have these in 30 minutes,鈥 Albert said.
And don鈥檛 sniff at the Trumptini, which features cherry vodka, a splash of grenadine syrup and cranberry juice.
