New faces light up the screen at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. From dramatic femme fatales to conniving kids test-driving a little familial sabotage, these up-and-comers serve up some serious star quality.

Hayley Atwell, 25

She's the femme fatale who lures Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor towards disaster in "Casandra's Dream," Woody Allen's latest film. Look for her next in the 2008 remake of "Brideshead Revisited," where she'll star as Julia Flyte opposite Emma Thompson, Greta Scacchi and Matthew Goode.

Saoirse Ronan, 14

In the sweeping romantic saga "Atonement," Saoirse Ronan gives a deft performance as a 13-year-old fledgling writer who sets out to sabotage the relationship between her older sister (Keira Knightley) and the man who loves her (James McAvoy).

Catch her next in Peter Jackson's 2008 film adaptation of "The Lovely Bones," starring Ryan Gosling, Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon.

Summer Bishil, 19

This gorgeous brunette gives a memorable performance as a culture-torn teen in "Nothing is Private," a new film based on the acclaimed book "Towelhead."

Bishil also scored another career coup in 2007. In "Crossing Over," her next film project, Bishil shares the screen with Harrison Ford, Sean Penn and Ashley Judd.

Rachelle Lefevre, 29

The Montreal actress makes an ace impression in "Fugitive Pieces," a compelling new film about a child who moves between Poland and Greece before settling in Canada.

Spot this rising star next in "Prom Wars," "American Summer" and "Life on Mars."

Channing Tatum, 27

Stuart Townsend directs this up-and-comer in "Battle in Seattle," a drama about the chaos that ensues when activists try to stop a meeting of the World Trade Organization.

See Tatum next in the war drama "Stop Loss," starring Ryan Phillippe.
