TORONTO - Make way for the Google trike.
The Internet giant showed off the three-wheeled addition to its popular Street View function in downtown Toronto today.
The trike gives users a look at places cars can't access, such as university campuses, hiking trails and theme parks.
It's the latest update to Street View, which provides people with images of ordinary streets in cities by mounting a camera on a vehicle and driving it around.
Mike Pegg, Google's senior product marketing manager, says the trike will record images of more well-known places such as Stonehenge in Britain and the Colosseum in Rome.
The mostly white trike weighs about 115 kilograms and includes a camera on the back and a GPS unit on the handlebars.
