Why Study Environmental Science?

Understand the fundamentals of natural and applied environmental science, along with the related fields of human behavior and environmental health.

Students in the environmental science minor explore the interdisciplinary nature of environmental issues, as well as different perspectives on those issues. Using current scientific methods, students study the intersection between topics such as restoration and conservation biology, environmental toxicology and chemistry, psychology, and public health. This intersectional approach leads to deeper understanding of the complex relationship between humans and their environment.
