TORONTO -- A new YouTube video is trying to spread the word that Toronto is "More than Ford."

The one-minute, four-second posted on the popular website is described as a "fan video" featuring "some of the things we love most about our city."

It shows scenes from around the city along with sporting, fashion and entertainment events, street festivals and celebrities, but no images of Mayor Rob Ford.

The video posting comes as Toronto copes with continuing allegations about the conduct of Ford, who admitted during a city council meeting Wednesday that he bought drugs while in office.

The scandal has drawn international attention and many residents fear it is damaging the city's reputation.

The video, set to the song "Live In This City" by Canadian band Dragonette, had just under 7,000 views on YouTube as of Thursday.

Update: The video has been taken offline and marked 'Private'
