CHANHASSEN, Minn. -- Paisley Park has added additional tour dates in October for those who want to visit the suburban Minneapolis recording complex of the late superstar Prince.
The Chanhassen City Council recently approved a new temporary operating permit for the museum. Paisley Park will now open on Oct. 13, 15 and 21-23 in addition to previously announced tours on Oct. 14.
Paisley Park was to open last week, but the council postponed voting on a rezoning request by the trust company overseeing Prince's estate. The museum secured a temporary permit allowing it to open as scheduled.
Artifacts on display include Prince's guitars, "Purple Rain" motorcycle and his ashes in a decorative urn.
Prince died of an accidental painkiller overdose in April. The council plans to reconsider the rezoning request Oct. 24.
