Hugh Jackman tries not to be a 鈥渨****r.鈥

While the 'Wolverine' hunk disputes his 'Nicest guy in Hollywood' label, he believes it is easier to be nice to fans who approach him rather than snapping at them because he would feel guilty later.

Speaking in Men's Health July/August 2013 issue, he said: As an actor, I鈥檝e always believed that any label is your enemy. Look, I was brought up in a way where you treat people with respect. So it鈥檚 certainly easier for me to be polite and respectful to people than to be an ae. Like, if I鈥檓 walking down the street with my family and the 29th person says, 鈥楬ey man, can I get a photo?鈥 for me to say, 鈥楴o photos, get f****d' for the next hour I鈥檒l be thinking I shouldn鈥檛 have said that. Whereas, if I say either, 鈥榊eah, no problem,鈥 or, 鈥楲isten, I鈥檓 with my family now, but it鈥檚 nice to meet you,鈥 then I move on, in a way it鈥檚 easier. It鈥檚 a mixture of that and also not being a wanker.鈥

Hugh, 44, also revealed he tries to be himself when he's not working, even though he has been advised to act differently.

He said: 鈥淚 try to be myself as much as I can when I鈥檓 not acting, for better or worse, but I鈥檝e had publicists who鈥檝e told me it鈥檚 a bad idea: 鈥榊ou move your hands too much, you did this too many times, you should do this, you shouldn鈥檛 talk about that.鈥欌
