Lea Michele wanted to have children with Cory Monteith.
The 'Glee' actress, who was left devastated when her boyfriend and co-star was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, after a drug and alcohol overdose in July 2013, claims they wanted to start a family together.
She told the new edition of UK's Glamour magazine: "We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old."
The 27-year-old star dated Cory, 31, for two years after meeting on set, and she finally feels "a bit more back together" after losing the actor, who she thinks would like to see her to fall in love again.
She said: "It's so important to make sure I'm 100 per cent OK before I get into a relationship.
"People have to understand that I can't be alone forever. Cory wouldn't want that."
The 'Cannonball' hitmaker will release her debut album, 'Louder' on March 17, and one of the tracks, 'If You Say So', represents the last words Cory ever said to her.
The heart-wrenching ballad, which Lea co-wrote with Australian singer-songwriter Sia Furler, sees her sing about the week after Cory's tragic death.
Lyrics include: 'It's just a week ago, you said I love you girl. I said I love you more. And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so."
