Celebrity couple "Brangelina" is no more, and fans of Brad Pitt's ex, Jennifer Aniston, couldn't be happier for her.

Twitter was flooded with GIFs of Jennifer Aniston applauding, smirking and laughing on Tuesday, after news broke that Pitt's current wife, Angelina Jolie, .

Aniston was previously married to Pitt from 2000 until early 2005, when the couple filed for divorce amid rumours that Pitt was involved with his "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star, Jolie. In 2006, Jolie and Pitt confirmed they were in a relationship with the announcement that she was pregnant with his child. Many fans took Aniston's side in the public split and, on Tuesday, they turned to Twitter to crow over the apparent misfortune of her ex.

But while people on "Team Jen" celebrated the Pitt-Jolie divorce, others mourned the breakup of one of Hollywood's most high-profile, seemingly secure power couples.

Pitt and Jolie had three children together, and adopted another three from impoverished countries. Their large family prompted several jokes about who will wind up with custody of the kids (Jolie has requested custody of all six).

Meanwhile, a few ambitious individuals started mulling their chances with the newly-single Pitt or Jolie.
