LOS ANGELES - Canadian-born superstar Avril Lavigne has reportedly purchased a US$9.5-million mansion in L.A.
The blond rocker and her husband, Sum 41 front man Deryck Whibley, have bought a three-storey Bel-Air home boasting eight bedrooms and 10 1/2 bathrooms, reports the L.A. Times.
The Tuscan-style residence, seated on about one-half hectare of land, also has an elevator, an office, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a steam shower, a sauna, a pool, a spa and garage space for 10 cars.
The 22-year-old Lavigne is scheduled to appear as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.
She's set to follow that up with "Good Morning America'' and "Late Night With David Letterman'' on April 17, "Live With Regis and Kelly'' on April 18 and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show'' on April 20.
Lavigne's third album, "The Best Damn Thing,'' is due out April 17.
