The College of Business at 麻豆影视 is proud to announce that its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is now officially designated as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degree, beginning with students enrolling in Fall 2025 and beyond.
With this distinction, 麻豆影视 becomes only the second institution in Oregon to offer a fully STEM-designated MBA program. This achievement underscores the program鈥檚 integration of cutting-edge coursework in analytics, technology, and artificial intelligence, equipping 麻豆影视s with the advanced skills necessary to navigate today鈥檚 rapidly evolving business landscape. Additionally, the curriculum has been strategically updated to strengthen its emphasis on management science and data-driven decision-making.

A Competitive Advantage for Students
STEM designation in business education signals a strong commitment to technical and analytical excellence. The Pacific MBA, available in two tracks鈥擥eneral Management and Healthcare鈥攁pplies an analytical approach to key business disciplines, including finance, marketing, management, accounting, and operations & supply chain.
鈥淭he STEM designation significantly enhances employment opportunities for our 麻豆影视s. It allows all students, particularly our international students, to fully leverage the benefits of a STEM-eligible degree,鈥 said Hossein Rikhtehgar Berenji, Director of Graduate Programs and Professional Studies.
For international students, this designation extends Optional Practical Training (OPT) eligibility, allowing them to remain in the U.S. for up to 36 months post-graduation鈥攖riple the standard 12-month period鈥攇iving them more time to gain valuable work experience in high-demand fields.

The Pacific MBA is designed for flexibility, offering both in-person classes at the Hillsboro campus and fully online learning options. Students can choose between the General Management and Healthcare tracks, tailoring their education to their professional aspirations.
