Pursue your purpose to become a teacher! Â鶹ӰÊÓ offers a set of scholarships for underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ and Â鶹ӰÊÓ students pursuing a degree or career in education.

 

Irene Holland Annual Scholarship

The Irene Holland Annual Scholarship is available to an underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ junior or senior majoring in education or a related field with the intent of becoming an educator. Preference is given to students interested in pursuing physical education and/or coaching. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need and be in good academic standing. The scholarship is renewable through Pacific’s Master of Arts in Teaching program.

Dean's Scholarship

The Dean's Scholarship is available to a full-time MAT fifth-year students. Applicants are evaluated on academic ability, financial need, and teaching potential. Special consideration is given to those pursuing certification in high-need areas such as mathematics and science and to bilingual candidates. Approximately 30 scholarships are awarded annually. Scholarship awards average $2,000.

Henry Kaulia Annual Scholarship

The Henry Kaulia Annual Scholarship is available to a student from Hawai‘i, with preference given to a Leeward Oahu student, who has demonstrated financial need. Students who are entering their junior or senior year majoring in education and learning, or those with an interest in becoming an educator, are eligible. Recipients are chosen by the Office of Financial Aid and the scholarship is renewable through Pacific’s MAT program. 

Schmiedeke-Cox Annual Scholarship

The Schmiedeke-Cox Annual Scholarship is available to transfer students interested in an education career. The scholarship is awarded based on need and merit and is renewable through underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ and Â鶹ӰÊÓ studies.

Doc Roberts Endowed Scholarship

The Doc Roberts Endowed Scholarship is available to a student enrolled in a science, technology, engineering or math field with an interest in teaching science and/or math. Students with financial need have preferences, but the scholarship may be awarded on merit.
